Corporate Enterprise Network (WAN): Network Engineer – Senior Security Clearance: IT-I – Critical Sensitive (Tier 5/SSBI)/ High Risk Clearance: SECRET IA Level: IAT II (i.e. Security+ CE) Job Location: Remote Be available to support meetings at DLA Columbus, OH and Fort Belvoir, VA Overview: Nationwide IT Services, NIS, is seeking a senior-level Network Engineer for a potential opportunity to work under general supervision, developing the requirements of a product from inception to conclusion. Key Responsibilities: Develop required specifications for simple to moderately complex problems.

The government-owned network and underground cable consist of a corporate, campus-wide CISCO LAN plant with Gigabit switching and routing to internal servers and external networks. Coordinates with the Vendor PM, COTRs, and government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters. Required Qualifications (Must-Haves): \ Five (5) years of progressive Information Technology (IT) experience, including at least two projects in technical areas included in the related task area specified in the Statement of Work.

At least one project must have occurred within the past three (3) years. Expert experience with a COTS 10 Gigabit Ethernet LAN and associated software and hardware equipment. Sensitivity Level: IT-I – Critical Sensitive (Tier 5/SSBI)/ High Risk Clearance: SECRET IA Level: IAT II 8570.01-M Baseline Certification: CISCO Certified Network Associate Plus Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Required Experience: Performing the Following tasks/Responsibilities: Three (3) years of hands‐on experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) IT hosting solutions.
