Job description

We are seeking a Cisco Micro-Segmentation Expert with strong experience in Cisco ISE and Security Group Tagging (SGT) to support network security initiatives across Toyota facilities. This role focuses on implementing micro-segmentation strategies to reduce risk, especially in environments where network infrastructure (switches) cannot be upgraded.

You will play a key role in enhancing cybersecurity posture using Cisco-based AI-driven security tools and segmentation technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement micro-segmentation solutions using Cisco ISE and Security Group Tags (SGT)
  • Configure and manage Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for policy enforcement and access control
  • Implement SGT-based traffic segmentation to minimize lateral movement and reduce security risks
  • Work within legacy network environments where switch upgrades are not feasible
  • Collaborate with network and security teams to define segmentation policies and best practices
  • Support deployment of AI-driven cybersecurity tools within Cisco ecosystem (e.g., Secure Gateway, advanced segmentation tools)
  • Monitor and troubleshoot segmentation policies and network access issues
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and frameworks
  • Provide documentation and operational support for implemented solutions
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine)
  • Expertise in Cisco TrustSec / Security Group Tags (SGT)
  • Solid understanding of network segmentation and micro-segmentation strategies
  • Experience working with enterprise network infrastructure (Cisco switches, routing, access control)
  • Knowledge of network security principles, including zero trust architecture
  • Experience in restricted/legacy environments where infrastructure upgrades are limited
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex network and security issues
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in manufacturing or automotive environments (Toyota or similar)
  • Exposure to AI-driven cybersecurity tools within Cisco ecosystem
  • Familiarity with Cisco Secure Gateway / Secure Access / Zero Trust solutions
  • Relevant certifications such as:
    • CCNP Security
    • CCIE (Security or Enterprise)
    • Cisco ISE certifications
