  • Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with earth science curricula including New York Regents Earth Science standards and common challenges such as interpreting reference tables, understanding deep time scales, and connecting atmospheric processes to climate. Adapts instruction using rock and mineral samples, weather data analysis, and interactive mapping tools to support middle and high school students building scientific literacy.
  • Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
