The Team:

The Global Client Group leads Dimensional's efforts to acquire long-term client relationships and increase the firm's reach in the marketplace. Team members work closely with both institutions and financial advisors to offer focused, specialized support and ensure the delivery of a consistently impeccable client experience. Everyone is empowered to offer up and execute on innovative ways to produce results.

The Role:

The Regional Director, Broker-Dealer Advisor Group, is responsible for business development and relationship management of both new and existing clients drives net new assets (NNA) and manages top-tier advisor relationships within major Wirehouse advisor channels. They lead proactive sales initiatives and coordinate across the broader Broker Dealer channel to deepen Dimensional's footprint within a designated territory.

To be successful, the Regional Director must have a strong knowledge of investments, capital markets and asset allocation theory. The ability to discuss the sophisticated investment solutions that Dimensional provides is critical to working with and influencing Advisors. Just as important, the Regional Director must have a solid business development and client service orientation and understand the issues and setbacks Advisors face in building a client-centric, fee-based business.

This role will be based out of our Charlotte office and frequent travel will be required to the territory

Day to Day and Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic sales and territory management across a book of business primarily composed of Wirehouse-affiliated Financial Advisors (FAs).

  • Proactively generate for new advisor relationships while deepening existing partnerships to maximize Net New Assets (NNA) and market share.

  • Partner with FAs to streamline their practices, helping them navigate platform transitions and shift toward fee-based, advisory models.

  • Establish yourself as a "thought partner" to high-production teams and internal gatekeepers.

  • Deliver high-impact presentations on Dimensional's investment philosophy and performance at complex-level meetings, regional Wirehouse conferences, and branch office sessions.

  • Act as a sales and thought leader, coordinating with internal product specialists and the client relationship teams to support complex advisor needs.

  • Serve as a high-visibility spokesperson for Dimensional's academic research and investment theory within the competitive Wirehouse marketplace.

  • Own territory P&L by increasing revenue and AUM through the strategic placement of Dimensional's investment suite.

Desirable Experience/Qualifications:

  • Extensive track record in Financial Services, specifically within External Wholesaling or Sales.

  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA, CFA, or CIMA designation strongly preferred to match the technical sophistication of the firm.

  • Proven network and established Wirehouse relationships (Merrill, MS, UBS, Wells) within the Carolinas and surrounding States.

  • Deep personal conviction in evidence-based investing and the ability to champion Dimensional's academic-rooted philosophy over traditional active management.

  • Demonstrated history of consistently exceeding NNA (Net New Assets) targets and scaling territory market share.

  • An existing "rolodex" of high-production, fee-based FAs who prioritize fiduciary-aligned portfolio construction.

  • An entrepreneurial "self-starter" mindset with the high energy required to manage a high-travel, high-activity territory.

  • Exceptional ability to translate complex factor-based investing and capital markets theory into clear, persuasive narratives for sophisticated advisor teams.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly with regards to conveying technical investment approaches and key Dimensional selling points in a clear and compelling manner.

  • Ability to present Dimensional's products and philosophy to small and large groups.

  • Act as a coach and mentor to junior members of the team

Requirements:

SIE (Securities Industry Essentials), Series 7, and Series 63/66 licenses required; SIE and Series 7 must be obtained within the first 12 weeks of hire as a condition of employment
