Purpose

The Continuous Improvement Analyst supports Continuous Improvement (CI) activities, such as training, facilitation, and coordination. Apply and spread CI knowledge in the department/function. The CI Analyst promotes a continuous improvement mindset, streamlines non-value-added activities, and strives for development within CI.

Report Line

The Continuous Improvement Analyst reports to the Continuous Improvement Manager or the Continuous Improvement Specialist

Salary Range Based on Experience $60,000 - $80,000.

Main Responsibilities

Business Understanding

Supports the preparation of the Site/Department strategy design. This includes selection, prioritization of improvement projects, resource allocation, and execution timeline.

Supports the elaboration of continuous improvement roadmaps and coordinates selected tactical and operational plans to meet local goals.

People Engagement

Support in deploying CI Awareness workshops to all teams (e.g., CI basics training)

Help colleagues in Givaudan to connect with CI and to share Good Practices (e.g., through newsletter)

Introduce and coach VPMS as a universal practice for everyone in the organization to manage daily performance

Capability Building

Develop people by delivering mentoring for all Basic CI Methodologies

Training includes CI Basics (5S, 8Wastes, Problem Solving), Yellow, Visual Performance Management, and CI tools

Problem Solving

Support team to identify problems that must be solved using right CI Methodology and Tools

Performance Management

Support the set-up of and facilitation of the effective implementation of daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly performance management reviews at shift, department and site level, including the definition of lagging and leading indicators

Continuous Improvement Maturity Assessment (CIMA)

Continuous Improvement Maturity Assessment (CIMA)

Support the CI Manager / Lead / Site or Department to prepare the CIMA Assessment and follow up with the teams based on the CIMA outcome

Process Efficiency

Train teams in applying relevant CI tools and methodologies for improving Processes and Asset Efficiencies

Work Standard

Support process owners on the development of CI-related work standards

Growth

Support specific business improvement projects

Support and coordinate the implementation progress of approved CI projects, monitoring resource plans, project team accountabilities, change requests, deadlines, milestones, and manage periodic updates to project partners

Academic Background

University degree

LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt certification is an advantage
