Job description

Residential Counselor – Alder CILA

A CILA (Community Integrated Living Arrangement) is a group home style living arrangement for adults aged 18 and older living with developmental disabilities. Clearbrook currently has 50+ CILA homes around the Chicago area, each one housing 1-8 clients each.

Location: Mount Prospect, IL
Hours: Part-Time
Schedule: Sunday 7am - Monday 9am (26hrs)
Pay: $21.35/hr + Paid Training!
 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the direct provision of active treatment to the clients including training and assistance in all areas addressed in the individual program plans of the clients to whom she/he is assigned.
  • Teach and provide the support necessary for the individual’s use of community resources.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities including (but not limited to) personal hygiene, feeding & housekeeping.
  • Assist clients in all areas of social and recreational program activities for the day.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must be 21 years of age
