Job description

New Covenant Church in Lampasas, Texas is seeking a Ministry Resident to help support and grow key areas of the church. This full time role combines hands-on ministry experience with intentional coaching and spiritual development, creating a pathway toward long-term ministry leadership.
The resident will work closely with church leadership, primarily the senior pastor to help lead ministry programming, disciple others, and contribute to the overall mission of the church. Depending on gifting and church needs, the role may focus on student ministry, worship leadership, kids ministry, or a combination of these areas.
New Covenant is a smaller, team-oriented church with a mix of full-time and part-time staff, emphasizing humility, hunger, and relational intelligence as key traits for success. Residents can expect a structured weekly schedule (including Sundays), practical ministry responsibility, and mentorship aimed at developing both character and competency in ministry leadership.
