Oasis Resident

Location: Charlotte, NC
Type: Full-Time | Exempt | Coordinator (C)
Reports to: Ministry Leader
Supervises: Assigned Volunteers
Role Summary
The Oasis Residency is a 24-month, support-raised position designed to develop the next generation of ministry leaders. Residents are not just "on staff"; they are mentored, stretched, and deployed into high-impact ministry to act as catalysts for Gospel Renewal in Charlotte and around the world.
Key Responsibilities
Ministry Deployment: Lead and oversee specific ministry initiatives within a chosen track (College, Church Leadership, or Custom) to gain hands-on leadership experience.
Leadership Development: Participate in regular mentoring and training sessions with pastoral staff to learn "behind-the-scenes" operations and spiritual leadership.
Team Shepherding: Recruit, train, and disciple a diverse pool of volunteers, fostering a culture of spiritual maturity and unity within your area of focus.
Collaborative Planning: Work alongside the staff to ensure all ministry programs are culturally inclusive, theologically grounded, and aligned with the church's vision.
Support Raising: Actively engage in the process of raising and maintaining personal financial support for the duration of the 24-month residency.
Residency Tracks
College Ministry: Reach the next generation on campus, lead small groups, and disciple students in the heart of Charlotte.
Church Leadership: Work with pastoral staff to learn operations, worship arts, family ministry, and community care.
Custom Track: Experience tailored to your specific spiritual gifts and ministry interests.
