Prep Academy Tutors is a private in-home and online tutoring company. We deliver flexible and personalized tutoring programs to our Collier County students. We specialize in all subject areas and cater to kindergarten to grade 12 students. We hire only the best-certified teachers and Subject Matter Experts or those completing their degree in Education and pay higher wages than the industry average.


Job Summary

Prep Academy Tutors of Collier County is looking for a passionate and engaging Mandarin instructor who can help students of all levelsfrom beginners to AP Chinesebuild confidence and fluency. The ideal candidate has experience working with children and teens and is skilled in adapting lessons to different ages, goals, and learning styles.


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (Education, Chinese Language, Linguistics, or related field preferred)

Teaching certification or equivalent credentials strongly preferred

Experience teaching Mandarin to K12 students in the U.S. or international school system

Experience preparing students for AP Chinese is highly desirable

Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and enthusiasm for student success


Responsibilities

Deliver one-on-one, semi-private or small-group Mandarin lessons (in-person and/or online)

Prepare students for school coursework, Chinese language exams, and AP Chinese Language and Culture

Develop customized lesson plans and track student progress

Communicate regularly with parents and the Prep Academy team to ensure learning goals are met
