Position: Language Enabled Analyst (LEA) – Chinese

Location: Hawaii
Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
Schedule: Monday–Friday (supporting operational requirements as needed)

Role Overview

The Language Enabled Analyst (LEA) – Chinese supports intelligence and mission operations through the application of Chinese language expertise and analytical tradecraft. This role combines language proficiency with intelligence analysis to identify, assess, and report on foreign activities, communications, and operational trends. The analyst will work closely with mission teams to provide timely, accurate, and actionable intelligence in support of national security objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze foreign-language materials and communications to support intelligence requirements
  • Apply Chinese language skills to identify, interpret, and assess relevant information
  • Produce intelligence reports, assessments, and mission-support products
  • Correlate information from multiple sources to identify patterns, relationships, and operational insights
  • Support target development, mission planning, and operational analysis efforts
  • Provide cultural, linguistic, and regional expertise to mission stakeholders
  • Collaborate with analysts, operators, and mission teams to support operational objectives
  • Brief findings and provide recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences

Required Experience

  • Proficiency in reading, listening, and analyzing Chinese-language materials
  • Experience conducting intelligence analysis, research, or operational support activities
  • Ability to identify relevant information and synthesize findings into actionable reporting
  • Experience working with multiple intelligence data sources and reporting formats
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting NSA, INDOPACOM, USCYBERCOM, or Intelligence Community missions
  • Experience as a Language Analyst, Intelligence Analyst, SIGINT Analyst, LEA, or related role
  • Familiarity with East Asia regional issues, foreign military activities, or cyber-related intelligence topics
  • Experience supporting operational planning, targeting, or mission analysis activities
  • Knowledge of intelligence reporting processes and analytic methodologies
  • Experience briefing intelligence findings to leadership and mission stakeholders
