Job Summary
As a Buyer, you will focus on the prompt procurement of all of raw materials (parts) for the use of local production, and any raw materials to be consigned to offshore suppliers as needed. 

Responsibilities 
  • Search and work with suppliers, distributors or directly with manufacturers to get the pricing and stock availability status of needed parts, including the price negotiation.
  • Generate Purchase Orders and send them to the vendors which will supply the parts. 
  • Follow up with vendors and ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage part inventory with proper methods e.g. Min/Max.
  • Any other tasks assigned by his/her reporting manager. 
Qualifications
  • 3 years+ purchasing work experience required, preferably in an electronic/electrical industry. Working knowledge in connector industry is a plus. 
  • Strong analytical skills, negotiation skills, and an aptitude for figures.
  • Able to work well independently and with a team, build strong relationships with colleagues and vendors, and learn new skills quickly, in order to bring in the needed parts for fast-paced local production.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills 
Language Requirements

Fluency in English is a MUST.   Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is preferred.
