(NASDAQ: HFFG), headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, is a leading distributor of international foodservice solutions to Asian restaurants and other businesses across the United States. With 15 distribution centers strategically located throughout the nation, HF Foods Group aims to supply the increasing demand for Asian American restaurant cuisine.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
The Buyer will research and purchase products for the distribution center.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversees and maintains current inventory.
  • Researches, analyzes, and forecasts current and future buying trends, markets, styles, and products, with attention to specified target market and demographics.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with wholesalers and suppliers.
  • Negotiates contracts with wholesalers and suppliers.
  • Assesses financial risks of purchases.
  • Research, browse the new products and trends to identify the potential business opportunities.
  • Be acting as a quality assurance professional by inspecting the quality of products upon arrival as needed.
  • Coordinate with the accounting department for the payment of invoices.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Excellent MUST be bilingual in English and Chinese.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Efficient typing skills, with an emphasis on accuracy and legal aspects of purchasing.
  • Ability to compile information and make decisions.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:
  • At least one year of buyer experience preferred.
  • Hight school diploma or above education is required.
