About This Role

We're seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our vibrant team at our licensed, four-star childcare center in Essex Jct.! Our 'home away from home' environment provides a warm and supportive setting where children thrive and learn. As an integral part of our team, you'll enjoy a culture that values the well-being of our Teachers, alongside the exceptional care we provide for our children. What You'll Do

We're looking for someone with these qualities:

  • Someone who brings enthusiasm, fun, and a contagious love of learning to the classroom every day.
  • A compassionate and empathetic individual who embodies a strong role model for the children in our care.
  • Able to work independently, yet thrive as part of a dynamic team.
  • Excellent communication skills are a must, as is flexibility and reliability when working collaboratively.
  • A minimum of one year of experience working with young children is essential.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An associate degree with a concentration in Early Education, Child or Human Development, Elementary Education, or Child & Family Services, and at least 1 year working with children grade 3 or younger
  • Teacher Associate or higher per VT regulations
  • Successful completion of 21 college credits with an early childhood or school-age focus and 1 year experience working with children from grade 3 or younger
  • Childcare certificate from CCV with 1 year of experience working with children grade 3 or younger
  • Certificate of completion from the Childcare Apprenticeship Program
