Child safeguarding refers to the policies, procedures, and practices put in place to protect children from abuse, harm, and neglect. It ensures that organizations and individuals working with children identify risks, respond to concerns, and create safe environments for children to thrive. Safeguarding involves training staff, conducting background checks, and establishing clear protocols for reporting and responding to any issues. The goal is to promote the welfare of children and prevent any form of exploitation or harm.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals working in Child Safeguarding roles?

Professionals in Child Safeguarding often encounter challenges such as managing emotionally difficult cases, balancing the needs of the child with those of families, and working under tight deadlines due to the urgency of many situations.
