Job description

We're looking for a versatile copywriter who can move fluidly between brand storytelling and conversion-driven copy.

You'll take campaign and creative briefs and turn them into compelling language across the entire customer journey — from big campaign ideas and brand storytelling to the copy that ultimately drives someone to act.

The ideal person is part brand storyteller, part direct-response copywriter: someone who can make people feel something and make them do something.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Translate campaign briefs into messaging across H1s, headlines, descriptions, taglines, and campaign copy

  • Write across channels including landing pages, email, paid social, and other performance creative

  • Script longer-form campaign films, founder videos, and branded content

  • Develop hooks, concepts, and messaging angles for performance creative

  • Balance emotional storytelling with persuasion and conversion

  • Partner closely with Brand, Creative, and Growth to evolve how Superpower sounds

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • ~3–6 years of copywriting experience

  • A strong portfolio spanning both brand/campaign and performance/conversion work

  • Exceptional at simplifying complex ideas into sharp, memorable language

  • Comfortable writing everything from a three-word headline to a three-minute script

NICE TO HAVE
  • Experience in health, wellness, medical, or other science-heavy categories

  • Agency background with range across clients and tonal registers

  • Long-form performance writing (VSL-style scripts, sales pages)

WHY SUPERPOWER
  • Mission that matters: we catch diseases before they start and change people's lives

  • Radical empowerment: no layers of approval, no waiting for permission — if you see a problem, we reward people that solve them

  • A-players only: small team of exceptional people who actually do the work

  • Founder mode: everyone is an IC here, including leadership. We don't delegate, we build

  • Competitive compensation with equity in a company at the frontier of health and AI

  • Superpower your own health — we live the ethos

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $125,000 – $130,000 (non-inclusive of equity).

Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role. Your recruiter can share more details during the hiring process.
