We are currently seeking a Member Solutions Float Specialist to join Nusenda Credit Union. As a Member Solutions Float Specialist, you will be responsible for providing advanced knowledge and support across all Member Solutions positions by processing and monitoring bankruptcies, assisting with the repossession duties, recovery, collections, and responding to subpoena and garnishment requests. You will serve as a liaison with mortgage servicer on mortgage situations, loan modifications, and foreclosures. Additionally, you will manage delinquent equity loan portfolios and provide solutions to members. You will send reports to Chex systems and create collection reports while researching documents for legal cases and provide support for the general collections queue.
What you'll do:
  • Provide advanced knowledge and support across all Member Solutions positions.
  • Serve as a liaison between attorneys, third party collection agencies, collections system vendors, letter vendors, E-Oscar, credit reporting agencies.
  • Functionality, problem resolution, upgrades/updates, etc.

What You Will Need:
  • Five to Eight years of similar or related collections experience.
  • Associates degree, two-year college degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers appropriately via in person, email etc.
  • Experience in multi-tasking, meeting strict deadlines, dealing with sensitive information, and problem resolution while providing exceptional service.
  • Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and all internal systems affiliated with the department.

Key Skills and Experience:
  • Support all Member Solutions specialty roles (bankruptcy, mortgage, legal, recovery, repossession, coordinator) to ensure all specialty functions have adequate support to meet departmental deadlines and service level agreements.
  • Process and monitor bankruptcies, assists with the repossession duties, recovery collections and processing, and subpoena and garnishment request responses.
