Job description

The Inventory Driver will be responsible to ensure an accurate and timely course of products. You will operate warehouse equipment to maintain and fulfill appropriate orders.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Add, remove, maintain, and organize incoming & current products.
  • Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Keep track of inventory levels, monitor stock levels, and maintain optimal inventory accuracy.
  • Properly label and categorize items for easy identification.
  • Locate products using technology and machinery
  • Retrieve orders according to quantity, size etc., ensuring accuracy
  • Restock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment
  • Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions
  • Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Proven experience as an order picker or other warehouse position
  • Experience or license in handling forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
  • Experience in RF devices
  • Ability to communicate including reading, writing, and speaking in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions.
  • Great attention to detail

Physical Requirements

  • Work regularly to lift and/or move objects 10-30 lbs; occasionally, with team support, lift and/or move objects greater than 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time including stair climbing
  • Frequent bending, stooping, squatting and kneeling are required to retrieve and stock products at various heights.
  • May be required to climb ladders or stairs to access products stored on higher shelves.
  • Capable of performing repetitive tasks, such as packing, sorting, or labeling, with efficiency and attention to detail. 
  • Must be able to tolerate fluctuations in facility temperatures
  • Must be able to tolerate an occasional high noise volume environment that includes speakers, fans, moving racks and conveyor belts.
