Job Title: Chemical Process Engineer – API Manufacturing
Location: Coppell (Dallas Area), TX

Overview

Seeking a hands-on Chemical Process Engineer to support API batch manufacturing operations in a pharmaceutical environment. The role involves shop floor process support, troubleshooting, validation execution, and process optimization activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support API batch manufacturing operations on the production floor
  • Drive process improvements, yield optimization, and troubleshooting initiatives
  • Execute IQ/OQ/PQ validation activities and technical assessments
  • Support deviations, CAPA investigations, and continued process verification (CPV)
  • Work with Rockwell FactoryTalk / HMI automation systems
  • Collaborate with Quality, Validation, and Automation teams

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • 4–5 years of pharmaceutical/API batch manufacturing experience
  • Strong knowledge of process operations, PFDs, P&IDs, and mass/energy balances
  • Hands-on shop floor troubleshooting and manufacturing support experience
  • Experience executing IQ/OQ/PQ protocols
  • Exposure to FactoryTalk / Automation systems preferred
  • Ability to work in fast-paced GMP manufacturing environments
