Job description

Ralph Brennan's Red Fish Grill has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef to join our talented culinary team. Our chefs source and purchase the best local and regional ingredients to prepare and serve menus rooted in the freshest Gulf Seafood.

About the Job:

As a Sous Chef, you will execute contemporary, seasonal seafood dishes with enthusiasm, precision and detail. You will oversee all stations in the kitchen and will jump in when needed. You will mentor our culinary staff and actively participate in menu planning, dish creation. Red Fish Grill Sous Chefs work closely with the Executive Chef to maintain the highest quality and standards in the daily operations of the restaurant.

About You:

Embody hospitality and are a leader in the kitchen and dining room.

Passionate about seafood.

Manage Line cooks, Prep cooks, Warewashers a, and all hourly team members.

Ensuring that all pars are met in the kitchen and oversees the execution of the menus

Energetic, enthusiastic, and possess strong communication and organizational skills.

Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment for all employees.

Qualified candidates will have:

1-2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or a Culinary degree

Excellent fish butchery skills
