Job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Associate to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks focused on accounts payable, general ledgers, and supporting the payroll administrator.


Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable invoicing and check printing
  • Ensures accuracy of general ledger entries
  • Assist with weekly payroll reporting
  • Handling tax payments and payroll deductions
  • Prepare adjusting journal entries
  • Bank statement and credit card reconciliation
  • Reviews, prepares and processes billing documents
  • ACH transfers and assisting Controller with month end
  • 1099 printing and assisting with W2s as needed
  • Processing ACHs, bank transfers, and deposits


Qualifications

  • Associate or higher degree; preferred
  • Minimum of two or more years of experience in Accounts Payable
  • Minimum of one or more years of experience working with General Ledgers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of the lumber/hardware industry is a plus
  • Good Organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Capable of multi-tasking and working independently to complete projects by deadlines
  • Embraces personal accountability
