Job description

Key Responsibilities:

● Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

● Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, expenses, and revenue.

● Reconcile bank statements with internal financial records to ensure accuracy.

  • Code expenses and reconcile information in Quickbooks for all company codes

  • Assist with coding on various spreadsheets

● Assist manager in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

● Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.

● Provide insights on budget variances and assist in financial forecasting.

● Assist in the payroll process, including bonuses, reimbursements, verifying federal and state payroll taxes are paid etc.

  • Assist with check printing/bill processing

● Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Accounting

● ADP Payroll experience preferred

● Proven experience as a Bookkeeping Accountant or similar role.

● Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

● Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (formulas, data entry, etc.)

● Basic or Intermediate level experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)

● Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

● Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
