Summary

We're looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our Calgarybased marketing team, for a temporary term of 18 months and the possibility of extension. This midcareer to seniorlevel role is ideal for someone who combines strong design fundamentals with the ability to translate complex, technical concepts into clear, compelling visual communications.

You'll play a key role in shaping our brand across digital, print, and event channels, working closely with marketing, sales, and internal subjectmatter experts. In this role, you will contribute to creative strategy and help guide visual direction across campaigns and initiatives, not just execute predefined concepts.

Applicants that are invited to interview will be asked to submit a portfolio of recent design work that demonstrates relevant experience and creative capabilities.

Role and Responsibilities

Creative & Design Execution

  • Conceptualize, design and produce marketing assets across digital and print channels, including web, email, social media, presentations, brochures, datasheets, and event materials
  • Translate technical or industrial concepts into engaging, onbrand visual storytelling
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Support integrated marketing campaigns, product launches, events, and sales initiatives
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, communicating with various stakeholders across the organization. 
  • Prepare final files for print and digital production by external vendors, ensuring accuracy and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors as needed
Qualifications and Skills
  • 5-10+ years of professional graphic design experience (inhouse, agency, or a combination).
  • Experience in B2B, industrial, engineering, energy, technology, or professional services environments.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating:
    • Branddriven design
    • Marketing and campaign work
    • Digital and print execution
    • Experience with a range of deliverables including ads, infographics, presentations, print layout, trade show graphics, etc...
  • Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); advanced PowerPoint skills for developing compelling presentations
  • Familiarity with web design systems or CMS platforms
  • Motion graphics or video experience (e.g., After Effects) is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work independently in a fastpaced environment.
