Job description

Accounting Manager
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage financial records, prepare reports, support budgeting, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax requirements for commercial and multifamily property management company. The ideal candidate will be organized, analytical, and able to communicate financial information clearly to leadership and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

·        Maintain accurate financial records for multiple entities, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and
         payroll.
·        Prepare and post journal entries and maintain supporting schedules for assigned balance sheet accounts.
·        Reconcile complex bank statements, credit card accounts, balance sheets, and other financial records.
·        Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and variance reporting.
·        Work with outside accounting firms to prepare and file tax documents while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal
         regulations.
·        Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule, including reviewing timesheets, deductions, payroll taxes, and related payroll
         records.
·        Monitor expenses, identify discrepancies, and recommend process improvements.
·        Oversee invoice approval workflows, ensure accurate invoice coding in accordance with company policies, and assist with check
         printing and mailing processes as needed.
·        Maintain confidentiality of financial information and uphold strong internal controls.
·        Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
·        Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
·        Minium of three years of accounting experience required.
·        Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
·        Experience with accounting software such as RealPage, Yardi, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar platforms preferred.
·        Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
·        Stable employment history with a demonstrated commitment to long-term roles and professional growth.
