Customer Experience Representative I

JOB SUMMARY: ย 
Demonstrate genuine interest and helpfulness when performing customer money handling transactions efficiently and accurately. ย Identify sales opportunities while maintaining performance standards per policy and procedures. ย Cross train to support account management inquiries and functions to serve as a one-stop resource for branch walk-ins. ย  Individually contribute a sharp presentation and exceptional experience to each and every customer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:ย 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
a. ย  ย Responsible for processing daily money handling transactions and balancing cash drawer. ย Must perform all assigned duties in a professional, timely, accurate, and efficient manner as outlined in the money handling policy and procedures.
b. ย  ย Provide quality customer service to all customers and prospective customers. ย Greet clients and prospective clients extending courtesy, kindness, and genuine interest.
c. ย  ย Maintain basic knowledge of company products, services and promotions as each customer transaction should be perceived as an opportunity to educate customers on self-service, respond to inquiries or make referrals.
d. ย  ย Maintain knowledge of all company policies, practices and procedures. ย 
e. ย  ย Attend all scheduled meetings, training and activities related to money handling transactions, basic account management and other company initiatives.
f. ย  ย Cross train and maintain knowledge of basic account management inquiries, set up and other functions to serve as one-stop resource; refer customers to appropriate Associates for complex or specialized services.
g. ย  ย Relay customer comments, concerns, or suggestions โ€” as well as your own insights โ€” to your supervisor in a timely manner.
h. ย  ย Maintain minimum performance standards for internal controls and risk management protocols for fraud detection and prevention.
i. ย  ย Other duties as assigned.ย 

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Qualifications:
1. ย  ย High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. ย  ย 1-2 years of banking or cash handling experience preferred.
3. ย  ย General areas of competency: decision making, dependability, development, environmental safety, evaluation skills, interpersonal skills, prioritizing, problem solving, selling skills, team skills and time management.
4. ย  ย Customer contact in a sales environment is preferred.
5. ย  ย Effective oral and written communication skills (including telephone).
6. ย  ย Ability to operate a computer and software skills required; adding machine preferred.ย 
7. ย  ย Fundamental mathematical ability.
8. ย  ย Must be capable of working with and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.

Physical Requirements:
Light Work - exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Reaching, fingering, grasping, repetitive motions, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, climbing, kneeling, talking, hearing, pulling, pushing, thinking, concentrating and interacting with others.
