Sales Support Manager

Your role on the team: 

  • Conduct spot quoting for new clients in alignment with company pricing strategies
  • Collaborate with product leads, utilize G-R8 (GEODIS global rate database for Air and Ocean), and coordinate with overseas offices to develop strategic quotes for prospective clients
  • Manage small multi-lane bids efficiently to secure new business opportunities
  • Update Freight of All Kinds (FAK) rate shells regularly to ensure accurate pricing information
  • Utilize carrier websites to update and maintain active client rates, ensuring competitiveness in the market
  • Facilitate the distribution, collection, and management of new account documentation and setups, including Power of Attorney (POA's), credit applications, etc.
  • Provide support to designated client contacts, assisting with documentation setups to onboard new clients effectively
  • Act as a point of escalation for client issues, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with commercial/product teams to make pricing margin decisions in line with company guidelines
  • Provide proactive support to strategic new clients, offering corrective actions and exceptional customer service to foster long-term relationships

What you need: 

  • 5 years experience preferred
  • Strong understanding freight logistics and pricing structures
  • Knowledge of MODE routing and pricing basics
  • Understanding of sales operational flow
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple teams, clients, etc. 
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask
