AI Adoption Specialist - On-Site

Georgia Banking Company

Atlanta, GA • On-site

Full-time

Posted 8 days ago

Job description

The AI Adoption Specialist is responsible for leading the adoption of AI across Georgia Banking Company, helping every line of business reduce manual work, speed up service, and make better decisions. Built on the bank's Microsoft Copilot platform, this role partners with business units to identify high-value opportunities, builds and leads an AI Champion network, trains and enables the workforce, and champions the safe, responsible use of AI in a highly regulated environment. This is not a deeply technical engineering role; it is a problem-solver's role, and the most important qualification is a proven, hands-on ability to leverage AI to get things done and to teach others to do the same.
Specific Job Functions:
  • Partner with line-of-business leaders to identify bottlenecks, manual tasks, and opportunities where AI can save time or improve the customer experience.
  • Translate business problems into practical solutions using Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio agents.
  • Prototype and demonstrate AI solutions that show quick wins, then help teams put them into everyday use.
  • Partner with business units to identify and select an AI Champion and foster AI utilization within their group.
  • Host regular AI Champion touch points to surface wins, exchange use cases, and spread successful practices across the organization.
  • Create and conduct continual training on foundational AI literacy so every employee can use AI safely and effectively.
  • Create and conduct continual hands-on enablement training on agents and bots so power users can build and improve efficiency.
  • Keep training current, onboard new employees to the bank's AI tools, track adoption, identify low-utilizers, and coach them one-on-one.
  • Reinforce the bank's AI Governance Framework and approved-tool policy.
  • Promote responsible AI by helping employees understand AI risks - including data handling, accuracy, and appropriate use.
  • Track and report adoption, time saved, and cost avoided; surface and celebrate wins; and report progress to IT leadership.

Requirements
  • Extensive, demonstrable, hands-on AI experience using generative AI, copilots, chat assistants, and/or agents to solve real problems.
  • A proven track record of practical problem-solving with AI, including building prompts, workflows, or simple agents that produce useful, repeatable results
  • Hands-on Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, or Anthropic experience preferred.
  • Exposure to banking or financial services preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI governance or responsible-AI practices preferred.

Skills & Capabilities:
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and training skills, with the ability to work effectively with both executives and front-line staff.
  • Ability to explain AI in plain, non-technical language.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a hands-on, self-directed approach to figuring things out with new tools.
  • Self-directed and organized, with the ability to run a program with minimal oversight.
  • Desire to continuously learn and quickly adopt emerging AI technologies.
  • Commitment to deliver best-in-class service.

What Success Looks Like (First 3-6 Months):
  • An AI Champion identified and active in every line of business.
  • Regular AI Champion touch points running, with a growing library of shared wins.
  • Beginner and advanced training courses live and built into new-hire onboarding.
  • Measurable growth in AI adoption - and a shrinking group of low-utilizers.
  • Documented time savings and use cases across multiple departments
