As a charity fundraiser, you organize groups of people to raise money through fundraising events and outreach programs. Your job duties may include planning fundraising events, contacting potential donors, and directing groups of people or volunteers. You may also use online platforms like crowdsourcing websites to raise donations. Charity fundraisers can find work in a wide range of nonprofit sectors, such as community outreach programs, critical health needs organizations, and political campaigns.
