Job description

Charger Logistics is seeking a highly organized Administrative Assistant - Safety & Compliance to support our Driver Recruitment and Safety Department. This position is ideal for candidates with a valid CDL License and previous experience in administration, transportation, driver recruiting, safety, compliance, dispatch, or fleet operations.
Responsibilities
  • Support driver recruitment activities, including candidate screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding.
  • Maintain Driver Qualification (DQ) files and compliance records.
  • Assist with driver orientation and training programs.
  • Monitor and update driver documentation to ensure DOT and company compliance.
  • Provide administrative support to the Safety & Compliance team.
  • Prepare reports, maintain records, and perform data entry.
  • Assist drivers, employees, and visitors with inquiries.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Valid CDL Class A or Class B License required.
  • Previous administrative experience in transportation, trucking, logistics, safety, compliance, dispatch, or fleet operations preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Schedule
  • Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Alternate Saturdays: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
