As we continue to grow our presence in the multifamily and property management channel, we're building a dedicated leadership function to own this strategic and fast-growing segment of our business.Position SummaryThe Director of Property Management will lead R&B Wholesale Distributors, LLC., multifamily property management channel, owning the strategy, relationships for appliance sales to multi-family properties and property management companies. This role is responsible for building and scaling a regional book of business in project/bid-driven appliance sales - from initial spec and bid through phased delivery and post-install service - while partnering closely with regional operations teams to ensure seamless fulfillment.This is a high-visibility leadership role reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer with the opportunity to shape how R&B Wholesale Distributors, LLC., builds out this channel as a core growth driver. Ideally located in Southern California with the ability to travel within CA, AZ, NV, WA and TX.Key ResponsibilitiesChannel Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute the strategic plan for the multifamily property management segment, including market prioritization, pricing strategy, and revenue targets.Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a team of account managers and bid coordinators supporting the multifamily channel as it scales.Customer Relationships: Build and own relationships with property management companies, serving as the primary point of contact for major accounts.Bid & Proposal Management: Oversee the bid function - pricing strategy, package proposals, and contract negotiation for project-based and spec-driven appliance packages.Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with regional operations, warehousing, and delivery teams to ensure appliance packages are staged and delivered on schedule against construction timelines.Vendor Coordination: Work with manufacturer partners to secure competitive pricing, product availability, and support for multifamily renovations and MRO.Process & Systems: Establish clear rules of engagement between the multifamily channel and regional teams to avoid account overlap or service gaps, and implement systems to track project pipelines, delivery phases, and service issues.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered8+ years of experience in appliance, building products, or construction-related distribution, with direct experience in multifamily, builder, or property management salesProven track record managing bid/spec-driven sales cycles and negotiating with developers, GCs, or property management companiesExperience building or scaling a sales channel, ideally across multiple regions or marketsStrong financial acumen, including P&L ownership and margin management on project-based businessExcellent relationship-management and negotiation skills with enterprise-level accountsAbility to work cross-functionally with regional operations and logistics teamsPreferredExisting relationships with regional multi-family developers and general contractorsExperience negotiating manufacturer/vendor programs and allocation for large-volume projectsFamiliarity with major appliance brands and builder package programsCore CompetenciesRelationship management and negotiationFinancial and margin acumenTeam leadership and talent developmentProblem-solving under tight construction schedulesCross-functional coordination (sales, purchasing, logistics, installation)Ability to manage a high-volume, multi-project pipeline simultaneouslyPhysical Requirements / Work EnvironmentRegular travel to builder offices, job sites, and model units; some overnight travel requiredAbility to walk active construction sites and wear required PPE when on siteCombination of office and field-based workWhat R&B Distributors OffersCompetitive base salary plus performance-based incentivesLeadership role in a strategic growth channel with significant visibilityComprehensive benefits package Opportunity to shape the future structure and strategy of the multifamily channelEqual Employment Opportunity StatementR&B Wholesale Distributors, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
