Job description

Overview

The paid growth marketing team at Credit Karma supports company growth by owning the strategy and execution of our marketing campaigns across a wide range of verticals and acquisition efforts. The team oversees testing and growth across paid search, programmatic and direct site buys/partnerships. As a Performance Marketing Manager, Paid Search at Credit Karma, you will own the strategy, testing and growth of a portion of our paid search portfolio. Your remit spans personal loans paid and acquisition paid search — driving personal loans leads and new members to Credit Karma at an efficient CAC. This role will also oversee our brand search efforts. You will be a key contributor and stakeholder in growing performance across these channels, with a strong emphasis on rigorous testing and the use of AI to accelerate insights and decision-making.


Responsibilities

  • Co-own strategy and lead execution for a portion of our paid search portfolio, spanning personal loans paid search, acquisition paid search, and brand search

  • Drive new member acquisition through paid search at an efficient CAC, balancing volume and efficiency across the portfolio

  • Own and grow brand search, protecting and maximizing performance across branded terms

  • Design and run landing page testing and A/B creative testing programs to continuously improve conversion and performance

  • Conduct keyword research and manage the search portfolio to identify new opportunities and optimize spend

  • Leverage AI — especially Claude — to drive insights, automate analysis, and accelerate optimization decisions

  • Partner closely with product marketing, analytics, and in-house creative to ensure best-in-class targeting and messaging for our members and non-members

  • Present out to key stakeholders on channel growth, testing results, and paid search strategy

  • Analyze performance and identify trends and levers for optimization


Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree (MBA preferred)

  • 2+ years of experience in paid search
