Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Digital & Channel Experience is responsible for managing multiple initiatives within all phases of the guest journey across our mobile app & resort access products (pass, tickets, etc.). This individual will directly lead (and develop) a team of product owners who are focused on defining requirements, aligning stakeholders, defining product vision, leading projects through the development lifecycle, and maintaining products in production. In addition to managing the product owners, this individual will also stay abreast of the changing digital landscape and help the enterprise leverage digital capabilities to unlock company priorities.

The Senior Manager, Digital & Channel Experience is an influential, cross-functional enterprise leader responsible for driving significant and sustainable business growth by building digital capabilities that drive guest and enterprise value. The candidate should have an understanding of the consumer and design principles, able to leverage data to build a business case, and have a strong understanding of digital technologies to help guide product owners to design, prototype, test, and bring digital products to market.

Job Specifications: 

  • Starting Wage: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 + annual bonus

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Manage a team of Product Owners, including developing the team’s product competencies, defining performance goals, and managing resourcing across project and product needs
  • Create objectives, strategies and apply data to help inform and make business decisions 
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience, along with a basic understanding of system integrations and dependencies to implement scalable solutions 
  • This role will focus on leading team members through large initiatives across the enterprise, including resort, retail, and hospitality divisions.
  • Forward thinking and exploring emerging digital trends 
  • Identify product gaps, process improvements, and solutions 
  • Help to build, execute, and maintain product roadmaps 
  • Leverage data (web analytics, industry data) to build business cases. 
  • Prioritize work requests and enhancements based on ROI, strategic initiatives and customer needs. 
  • Lead project teams and manage projects him/herself against agreed upon on-time, on-budget, on-scope deployments. 
  • Lead/support/coordinate relationships with digital design/development agencies. 

Job Requirements: 

  • Four-year college degree is required; focus in marketing, communications, computer science, management information systems or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of six years of experience in marketing, business development and/or business strategy, including a minimum of two years of experience in product management, with responsibility for user experience development/management, e-commerce, online marketing and/or online business strategy. 
  • Managing a team of Digital Product Owner
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Atlassian Suite (JIRA and Confluence), Prototyping tools (Figma), Analytics reporting (Adobe Analytics), Content management systems (Sitecore and ContactStack)
  • Strong understanding of digital (web/mobile) standards, usability, site design, and ecommerce preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting to senior-level audiences. 
  • Strong leadership skills and proven ability to collaborate well across functions and departments, to work as part of a team, and to lead teams in achieving goals.
  • Active interest in skiing, snowboarding and travel is helpful. 
  • Travel to our various resorts and lodging properties may be required. 
  • Demonstrated track record of strong short- and long-term strategic planning. 
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent project management skills. 
  • Must be able to interact with all levels of the business. 
  • Experience with website localization for multiple languages or currencies. 
  • Experience implementing Personalization on a digital platform 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience managing many projects simultaneously to successful execution. Familiarity with the travel industry and the online travel customer decision-making process is helpful.
  • Superior analytical thinking, communication and people management skills  

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
