Overview
The Change Manager will lead multiple concurrent organizational change initiatives, partnering with business leaders and cross-functional teams to successfully implement strategic business and technology transformation projects. This role is responsible for developing and executing change management strategies, including stakeholder engagement, executive communications, organizational readiness, training, user adoption, and project coordination. Strong project management skills are essential to manage competing priorities, timelines, risks, and deliverables across a diverse portfolio of initiatives. The role also requires creating executive-ready PowerPoint presentations, communication and training materials, and other change assets that support decision-making, employee engagement, and successful adoption across enterprise system implementations, process improvements, and organizational transformation initiatives within the environmental and industrial services industry. This is a 6-month, remote, consulting engagement working full-time hours. Qualified candidates will work mostly in the CST time zone, although flexing to PST, MST and EST hours will be required for some business meetings. All qualified candidates must be authorized to work without visa sponsorship or visa transfers. Please note that we do not work C2C.
Responsibilities
• Lead project management activities, including planning, execution, dependency management, risk mitigation, and status reporting.
• Provide strategic planning related to projects and workflows, including leadership workshops, decision forums, and sponsor alignment.
• Develop and execute change management strategies and plans, including stakeholder impact and readiness assessments.
• Create, develop, and deliver communication materials, presentations, messaging, and end-user communications.
• Develop training materials including decks, job aids, guides, digital and asynchronous learning.
• Must have strong writing skills and understanding of audience and topic alignment.
• Drive hands-on implementation of project plans, change activities, communications, and training elements, ensuring alignment with milestones and measurable adoption outcomes.
• Be able to evaluate project phases and workflow and create solutions as well as influence decision making.
Requirements
Qualifications
• Minimum of 5-7 years experience in change management, with direct ownership of project delivery outcomes. Must have strong PM consulting experience. Ideal if PMI or PMP certified.
• Industry knowledge and professional experience in environmental and/or industrial service industry is highly desired.
• Experience with system implementations (ie CRM, HRMS, ERP, etc.), changes and enhancements.
• Demonstrated experience in change management, communications, and training development.
• Strong MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word capabilities required
• Prosci Certified Change Practitioner® (or equivalent, recognized change management certification) required.
• E-Learning tool experience using Storyboard, Rise, and/or Camtasia is helpful
• Strong written, verbal, and facilitation skills across executive and frontline audiences.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
• Hands-on project and change management experience delivering large-scale enterprise initiatives, improving data management and governance programs, and industrial or environmental transformations.
• Professional, executive level presence and the ability to work on video for meetings, workshops and training.
Compensation
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range considers a wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a 6 months+ consulting engagement with an expected annual salary of $80,000-135,000 . Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
