Depending on experience level, Change Managers may support defined workstreams, independently lead change initiatives, or take ownership of change strategy across large and complex stakeholder groups. The common goal across all levels is to help translate organizational change into practical actions that drive measurable adoption.

Hybrid role, 2 to 3 days a week onsite.
Compensation: $45 to $65 per hour depending on experience level (hiring for multiple levels)
Contract, 6 months, with potential to extend or convert to permanent

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help stakeholders understand what a product operating model is, how it differs from traditional project-based delivery, and what the change means for their roles and teams
  • Develop clear change narratives, communications, and engagement approaches tailored to different stakeholder audiences
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis, identify potential resistance or adoption risks, and develop plans to address them
  • Design, coordinate, and facilitate workshops, offsites, working sessions, and stakeholder discussions
  • Support the development of adoption baselines, readiness assessments, success measures, and ongoing adoption metrics
  • Analyze stakeholder feedback and adoption data to identify gaps and recommend adjustments to the change approach
  • Partner with product, design, research, engineering, and business leaders to reinforce new ways of working within their teams
  • Develop and maintain change management deliverables, including stakeholder maps, impact assessments, readiness assessments, engagement plans, communication plans, and enablement materials
  • Support leaders and managers in communicating change and reinforcing desired behaviors with their teams
  • Coordinate with communications, training, enablement, and other resources supporting the transformation
  • Prepare updates, presentations, and materials for leadership and executive stakeholders
  • For more senior-level roles, coach senior leaders through visible sponsorship and complex stakeholder or resistance challenges
  • For more senior-level roles, define the overall change strategy, guide other change resources, and adjust the approach based on adoption data and organizational feedback
  • Contribute to building sustainable internal change capability and transitioning ownership of change activities to internal teams

QUALIFICATIONS

We are considering candidates across multiple levels of experience. The level of the role will be determined based on demonstrated experience, complexity of work previously led, and ability to operate independently.

  • Experience in organizational change management, organizational transformation, change communications, enablement, or a related discipline
  • Experience supporting organizational, operating model, ways-of-working, cultural, digital, or technology-enabled change
  • Exposure to or direct experience with product operating models, product transformation, Agile ways of working, or the transition from project-based delivery toward product ownership
  • Ability to build relationships and credibility with stakeholders at appropriate levels of the organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex change into clear and practical messaging
  • Experience supporting or facilitating workshops, meetings, working sessions, or stakeholder engagement activities
  • Familiarity with stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, readiness assessments, communications planning, enablement, and adoption measurement
  • Understanding of recognized change management principles or methodologies such as Prosci ADKAR, Kotter, or equivalent approaches
  • Ability to work effectively in environments where roles, structures, or processes are still evolving
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple activities and stakeholder needs simultaneously
Experience by Level

Junior / Associate Change Manager

  • Typically 2+ years of relevant experience in change management, communications, transformation, enablement, project/program management, or a related area
  • Experience supporting change deliverables, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, or adoption activities
  • Able to independently manage defined tasks or workstreams with guidance from more senior team members

  • Typically 4+ years of organizational change management or transformation experience
