Job description


As a Sr Applications/Systems Sales Engineer you will act as the primary technical resource to the Healthcare Strategic Sales team, providing guidance throughout the specification cycle.
Through your technical expertise you will engage and foster strong relations with key influencers acting as a consultant helping identify and recommend the best applicable Honeywell solution.
Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary technical partner to the Strategic Sales team, providing expert guidance throughout the sales cycle.
  • Prepare detailed technical specifications, system requirements, and application configurations to support Strategic Sales in developing accurate proposals and customer packages.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders by educating and acting as a consultant to increase consideration, position specification and adoption of Honeywell technology and solutions
  • Lead technical discovery sessions, solution walk-throughs, and product demonstrations with prospective customers.
  • Develop system architectures, integration approaches, and application recommendations based on customer needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Understand all applicable building codes, standards and regulations
  • Up to 50% travel

This position is incentive eligible.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • 5 or more years of transferable experience in sales engineering roles.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Healthcare.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles.
  • Strong technical background in application and systems engineering.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Experience working with Engineering specifications

The annual base salary range for this position is $102,000 - $169,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
