The Mission Control Coordinator serves as the central hub of Grand Traverse Industries' Client Services team. As the welcoming first point of contact for families, individuals served, staff, and community members, this position plays a vital role in creating a positive experience for everyone who interacts with GTI.
The Mission Control Coordinator is responsible for answering phones, greeting visitors, scheduling and coordinating appointments, conducting fingerprinting services, supporting billing and vehicle check-out processes, maintaining records and data entry, and ensuring that important information flows smoothly throughout the organization. This role helps keep daily operations on track by managing details, solving problems, and providing exceptional customer service.
In addition to administrative responsibilities, the Mission Control Coordinator serves as a flexible team member who is willing to step in and provide support to programs and services when needed, helping ensure continuity of services and a positive experience for those we serve.
Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, a welcoming personality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate enjoys helping others, thrives on keeping things organized, and takes pride in being the person who helps connect all the moving pieces together.
Position Details:- Full-time, 40 hours/week (Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm)
- Paid lunch breaks
- Starting pay: $17.13-$20.00/hour

Skills:
• Moderate Computer knowledge in Microsoft Programs (ie: Office, Great Plains, Teams, Sharepoint)
• Ability to type a minimum of 50wpm
• Ability to be organized and have good time management skills without supervision
• Great communication skills
• Treat people with kindness, not cruel or harsh , showing compassion (Gentle teaching philosophy)
• Ability to be flexible and handle change well.
• A good track record with attendance
• Ability to answer phones and utilize other office equipment such as computer, copier, printer, fax machine.
Qualifications/ Physical requirements:
• High school diploma or above and must be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Pass a background check
• Must have a full range of motion, which includes sitting, stooping, bending, and being able to stand up to 8 hours
• Physical strength to lift up to 40lbs
• The ability to achieve and maintain training and certifications
• Moderate computer usage/ knowledge
• Follow company policies and procedures/and Safety Protocols
Work Schedule: This is a full time, 40 hours per week, position. Work schedule hours generally between 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday.
