MISSION

Job Summary
To drive operational excellence by standardizing work, optimizing line balance, and ensuring clear direction and precise timing across all production processes. The change control coordinator is committed to maintaining seamless change control, supporting cross-functional alignment, and ensuring all customer requirements are met accurately and on time in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a feeder position for Production Supervisor, Supply Chain Planner, Engineering and/or POMs within 1 to 2 years.
Responsibilities&Activities

Responsibility 1:
  • Assist in defining metrics
  • Define Term and Objectives
  • Ensure metric attainment and customer satisfaction
  • Achieve and exceed manufacturing and quality metrics
  • Able to use PFMEA tool to assess and mitigate potential failure in manufacturing processes
  • Manage inventory
  • Get an operator's viewpoint in the design of the cell, taking ownership of the cell getting set up. Get their viewpoint of people who are going to be working on it
  • Making work instructions, standard work
  • Being data-oriented and organized
  • Record and report any equipment malfunctions, abnormal product quality or any process that is found to be out of specification
  • Complete required documents
  • Adherence to change management process
  • Train operators
  • Ability to use ergonomic analysis tools
  • Assist in customer builds

Responsibility 2:
  • Lead the cross-functional continuous improvement team to achieve defined metrics
  • Obtain required cross-functional support from functional managers
  • Establish and maintain effective system of communication and information flow cross functionally
  • Drive continuous improvement and corrective action activities

Responsibility 3:
  • Be willing to travel internationally and have a passport
  • Flexible scheduling, shift jumping
  • Authority and responsibility to stop production when a quality or safety issue arise
  • Work required walking, talking, seeing, hearing, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, grasping, crouching, pushing, balancing, reaching, kneeling, and standing
  • Must comply with all work rules, policies, procedures and work instructions
  • Must be able to list up to 33lbs on a regular basis
  • Work requires working under high and low temperatures at certain times
