Summary

Watertronics is seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company's financial strategy while serving as a key member of the executive leadership team. The CFO is responsible for the financial health, stability, and long-term growth of the organization by providing strategic guidance, financial oversight, and operational insight.

This role partners closely with the President/CEO and leadership team to drive profitability, support strategic initiatives, improve operational performance, and ensure the company has the financial resources necessary to achieve its business objectives. The ideal candidate is an experienced financial executive who understands manufacturing, project-based operations, inventory management, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements:

Knowledge and Skill

· Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Sales to improve financial performance across the organization.

· Oversee inventory valuation, cost accounting, standard costing, and manufacturing variances.

· Monitor project profitability and margin performance throughout the project lifecycle.

· Evaluate capital expenditures and return-on-investment opportunities.

· Support ERP optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.


Risk Management & Compliance

· Maintain strong internal controls and corporate governance practices.

· Coordinate annual financial audits and tax filings.

· Manage banking relationships, financing, insurance programs, and cash management.

· Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations.


Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.

· CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred.

· Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience.

· Minimum of 5 years in an executive finance role within a manufacturing environment.

· Experience with ERP systems and integrated business software.

· Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, financial planning, forecasting, and cash flow management.

· Demonstrated ability to influence executive decision-making through financial analysis and strategic insight.

· Experience with companies that have international operations
