Job description

The COO/CFO is a senior executive level position, reporting directly to the Hospital CEO, who serves as a key member of the facility's Executive Team, for this 21-bed District-owned, critical access hospital in rural Oregon. The COO/CFO directs all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting and audits, while also overseeing operations departments and functions, to include strategic operational planning, primary care and specialty clinic operations, procurement, and other departments, as assigned.

The COO/CFO is a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the CEO and a pivotal leader in improving both financial and operational performance for the organization. This is the second highest ranking position in the organization and will serve as the Acting CEO, during any absence of the CEO from the facility.

  1. Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience is required.
  2. Previous experience as a Critical Access Hospital Chief Financial Officer is required.
  3. Demonstrated success managing both financial and operational functions is required.
