Job description


Position Summary:

This position is responsible for performing aircraft maintenance and repairs as assigned. This position reports directly to a Lead Mechanic.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs maintenance and repairs in accordance with prescribed practices and procedures
  • Must have an A&P Certificate
  • Must have great attention to detail
  • Completes required paperwork as directed
  • Maintains clean shopย  and keeps organized as directed.
  • The fleet includes: 8 x Cessna 172's, 2 x Piper Singles (Warrior & Arrow), 2 x Piper Twins (Aztec & Apache), 1 x Cessna 421, 2 x Robinson Helicopters (R-22 &R-66)
  • Contributes to a safe work environment by reporting workplace hazards
  • Ensures compliance with all 14 CFR part 91/141 regulations

Position qualifications required:

  • Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English
  • Previous Robinson Helicopter maintenance experience, R-66 preferred
  • Must have knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs., climb ladders, and maneuver around aircraft
  • Must be able to pass a company background and drug test

Work Environment:

  • Flight-line and hangar at times in inclement weather
  • Workaround chemicals, solvents, and paints
