Job description

Construction Project Manager Position

We are the top residential garage builder working around the Raleigh area.

The job requires:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of construction and/or education in construction project management (2-year Associates or better)
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Valid Drivers License and proof of automobile insurance
  • Basic understanding of navigating smartphones/iPads & email.
  • Basic knowledge of using power tools safely (power saws, drills, hammer, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Blue print reading 
  • An understanding of using project management software (Smartsheet, Buildertrend, etc.)

Some preferred skills that would help:

  • Some experience operating light machinery(mini-excavator & skid steer / 1-2 years exp.)
  • Experience pulling a trailer and chaining equipment.
  • Experience with material take-offs
  • OSHA Certifications 10/30 hour certification
  • Experience working with Sub contractors 

The job entails:

  • Working alongside a superintendent 
  • Driving a company vehicle
  • Excellent ommunication with customers
  • Using power tools
  • Using an iPad for project details, files, emails, photos, and a project management software.
  • Working with Sub-contractors and checking over their work
  • Reading blue prints
  • Communicating with vendors, ordering and verifying material deliveries.
