Job description

• Serve as the primary technical administrator and subject matter expert (SME) for Dayforce HCM, owning all configuration, release management, and platform optimization across payroll, time & attendance, and talent management modules.

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end integrations using Dayforce Integration Studio, including inbound/outbound connectors, file-based (SFTP/PGP) and API-based (REST/SOAP) interfaces connecting Dayforce to ADP eTime, SuccessFactors, Taleo, Absorb, ServiceNow, Phenom, bSwift, and other third-party vendors; administer all integrations with our privately built HR System; manage API connections, middleware, and data transformation workflows to ensure reliable, secure, and timely data flow; and proactively monitor performance, identify failures, troubleshoot discrepancies, and implement remediation to continuously improve system reliability.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive integration documentation including data flow diagrams, field mapping specifications, transformation rules, SFTP/API configurations, and error handling protocols.

• Perform Dayforce maintenance for payroll with upload files and configuration including merit imports, benefit deduction file processing, loan imports, and time collection troubleshooting in coordination with Payroll and Finance teams.

• Conduct system configuration for Dayforce modules (HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Benefits, Onboarding) including workflow rules, entitlement configurations, pay policies, and form configuration.

• Participate in Dayforce release readiness cycles — evaluate release notes, perform regression testing, validate configuration, and communicate system impacts to People & Culture stakeholders.

• Administer SAP SuccessFactors (core HR, succession planning, strategic talent reporting), Taleo (recruiting/onboarding), Absorb/MyLearning (LMS), and ServiceNow/Service Desk + (HR case management/HRIT dashboard) in a supporting capacity.

• Manage access provisioning and role-based security across all HRIS platforms, including MFA/SSO configuration, annual access audits, and access recertification processes.

• Manage and resolve support tickets in ServiceNow/Service Desk + with urgency, prioritizing payroll/time and integration incidents to minimize business disruption.

• Partner with People & Culture Business Partners, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical system solutions and drive business efficiencies.

Lead or support data migrations, cutover activities, and HRIS technical due diligence for company

acquisitions and divestitures.

• Develop and maintain user guides, integration runbooks, technical specifications, and training materials; deliver enablement sessions to People & Culture and system users.

• Execute and support ad hoc and scheduled reporting using Dayforce reporting tools, Snowflake/Data Lake queries, and GHRD analytics platforms.

• Ensure all HR systems adhere to data security, privacy, and compliance standards including SOX controls; partner with Internal Audit for SOX and external audit activities, owning remediation plans as required.

• Ensure compliance reporting outputs (EEO-1, Vets-4212, Illinois, Massachusetts, and other jurisdictional requirements) are accurate and delivered on schedule.

• Participate in HRIS special projects including new platform implementations, system upgrades, and process automation initiatives as and when required.
