To thrive as a CEO or COO, you need extensive leadership experience, strategic planning skills, and a strong background in business management, often supported by an advanced degree such as an MBA. Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, financial management tools, and industry-specific regulations or certifications is typically expected. Exceptional communication, decision-making, and adaptability are crucial soft skills for inspiring teams and navigating complex organizational challenges.
