Job description

The Family Service Counselor serves families by providing exemplary personalized service and plays an essential role in generating revenue for the cemetery as well as acting as the primary contact for families.

This recession-proof opportunity may be the perfect position for you if you like helping people and desire above-average compensation + incentives commensurate with performance. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including Health, Dental, Life, 401(k), and more.

Earn an hourly wage plus commissions on all sales. Potential income from $40,000 to $80,000.

Duties:

  • Enter contracts and payments into the cemetery software.
  • Counsel families making advance planning and immediate-need arrangements.
  • Involvement with the community to provide a level of education to families on the benefits of prearranging cemetery property.
  • Acquire new client relationships by following up on leads and referrals during the day, evening and weekend as required.
