Job Description

We are seeking motivated and creative individuals to join our Cell Line Technology team to contribute to ongoing efforts in engineering and identifying superior host cell lines for the manufacturing of therapeutic proteins. 

The successful candidate will have mammalian cell culture and ideally some cell line development experience. 

Candidates with experience performing transfections, basic molecular biology techniques (gene cloning, plasmid construction PCR, etc) cell line screening and characterization will be highly valued. 

Additional experience with lab automation platforms and basic biochemical and/or immunochemical techniques would be a plus (SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, etc.). 

Job Responsibilities:

support mammalian cell culture manufacturing processes

performing filtration of unprocessed bulk

operate various process equipment,

documenting daily manufacturing operations in a cGMP environment

calibrating manufacturing equipment

cleaning applicable equipment

Running a robot to harvest unprocessed bulk


Qualifications

Education: 

A BS/MS in Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry or a related field. 

Qualifications include 2 - 3 years research experience in Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry or a related field. 

Candidates with industrial bioprocess development experience will be highly valued.
