Sloomoo celebrates joy through an interactive experiential world, focused on slime, hands-on play, and all things #satisfying. Sloomoo launched in October of 2019 with an immersive 12,000 square-foot experience in Soho, NYC, where hand-crafted, artisanal slime (dozens of textures and the most delicious scents), soothing ASMR, and wondrous delights (you can slingshot slime, walk on slime, design your own slime, and more) converge with glossy, contemporary design.


Sloomoo’s universe has expanded - there are now a total of 6 Institutes (NYC, LA, Houston, Chicago, Atlanta, Charlotte) and two MiniMoos (Boston, Philadelphia) with more to come.

Position Summary

The Event Sales Manager has a key role focusing on driving sales growth in the events sector for two of our premier locations; Houston and the recently opened Charlotte


Responsibilities include strategic sales planning, achieving revenue targets in corporate, private and celebrity events, developing and maintaining strong client relationships. The role involves lead generation, effective sales tactics, proposal development, event management and ensuring customer satisfaction. The position includes sales and event management. 

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Embrace and contribute to a fun working environment.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer and market needs to guide sales strategies. 
  • Implement sales plans using effective sales techniques. 
  • Generate leads through various methods including telemarketing, networking, trade shows, and industry events. 
  • Convert prospects to clients with successful sales calls and closing strategies. 
  • Create tailored proposals by thoroughly understanding customer needs and product offerings. 
  • Write BEO’s, manage events including catering, entertainment, rentals, insurance. 
  • Strive for a balance between companyobjectivesand customer satisfaction for mutual benefit. 
  • Deliver convincing proposal presentations, both remotely and in-person, coordinating with General Managers when necessary. 
  • Expertly manage objections and resolve customer issues, ensuring customer satisfaction. 
  • Build relationships with associations and business organizations for the lead generation. 
  • Guaranteepromptresponses to sales inquiries and communicate product details accurately for operational execution.
  • Partner with operations to deliver world class events.
  • Curate and contract food,beverageand entertainment partners.
  • Manage event sites as needed.
  • Conduct post-event follow-ups for feedback, future bookings, and referrals. 
  • Collaborate with the team to address all customer concerns. 
  • Implement andutilizea sales and BEO system foraccurateevent booking. 
  • Manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks effectively, andmaintainaccuraterecords. 
  • Work with the accounting department to ensuretimelypayments and adherence toaccountsreceivable guidelines.
  • Attending relevant meetings,conferencesor events asrequiredordeemednecessary.
  • Performadditionalduties as assigned. 

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in hospitality, attractions, events, or a similar industry.

  • Ability to work from either our Houston or Charlotte location at least 4 days per week

  • Flexibility to help on-site operations with high volume days, field trips, birthday parties and/or other events

  • Experience with group sales, event planning, or partnership development is highly valued.

  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
