SUMMARY

position is responsible for daily prep andexecution of service on their assigned station. A Pastry Chef de Partie III isexpected to work under the guidance of a Pastry CDP 1 and 2 and follow all theprocedures and tasks given by the lead on the station. This position requiresan overall understanding of timelines, product needs, flavor combinations, andthe expectations for each dish as directed during prep and service. A PastryChef de Partie III is expected to have fundamental skills and be able to workquickly and efficiently with other team members in a focused and organizedmanner. This position is an entry level position in the Patty O's Bakerybrigade and individuals should have a strong desire to learn and grow withinthe kitchen environment.

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS.

1.Plan,prepare, set-up and provide consistent and organized quality service in allareas of pastry production including an emphasis on plating in accordance withstandards.

2.Strictlyadhere to recipes and standards for product preparation and plating

3.Demonstratecompetent knife skills, basic pastry techniques & knowledge, measuringingredients, mixing methods, and safe operation of all kitchen equipment.

4.Other relatedassignments as necessary..

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

1.General fundamental skills in all basic techniques and knife cuts. Asense of flavor development and evaluation of prep is necessary for this position.

2.Associate's degree in culinary arts.

3.A positive attitude.

4.Servsafecertification within six months of full time employment.

5.Minimum of 1-2 years professional experience cooking, preferably in a fastpaced, high volume environment.

Desirable

1.Ability to work quickly and cleanly throughout a shift and meet alldeadlines.

2.Strong communication skills and practices

3.Ability toproblem solve and react quickly to any issues which arise during a shift.

4.Bi-lingual in Spanish and English.
