Job description

The Nutrition Services Manager, CDM supports food service activities and departmental functions to ensure nutritional care that effectively and efficiently meets the needs of our residents. The Nutrition Services, CDM will work closely with a Registered Dietitian (RD) to support resident health and wellness, assist with menu development, and oversee the daily operations of dining services. As a representative and team member of the company, this position is expected to present oneself in a manner that reflects professionalism and ensures resident satisfaction.


Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm
Pay Range: $30-$40.00 pr/hr depending on experience

A day in the life might look like:

Supporting resident health and wellness by leading daily nutrition service operations and partnering closely with the Registered Dietitian, Nursing, and Dining teams. In this role, youโ€™ll help ensure quality meal service, diet compliance, food safety, scheduling coordination, and an exceptional dining experience while creating a positive and supportive environment for residents each day.

To be successful in this role, you would have:

To be successful in this role, you should have strong leadership and organizational skills, a passion for resident care and nutrition, and the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare foodservice operations, knowledge of food safety and regulatory compliance standards, and an active CDM, CFPP certification or equivalent foodservice management training.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Foodservice Manager Training Program or another comparable (2-4 year) foodservice management or nutrition program
  • Successful completion of CDM Credentialing Exam with active CDM, CFPP certification status.
  • Food Manager Certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
