Job Summary:
This position is the primary plant administrator for the CMM system and responsible for data entry, set-up, training, report generation and spare parts inventory of all assets using the CMM system. This includes ordering and expediting asset parts. Specific skills include knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical terminology along with a useful understanding of computers and software. Will require excellent communications with part and equipment suppliers.
Essential Accountabilities:
  • Research, locate and organize parts or components as needed for all plant assets. (80%)
  • Generate reports and maintain CMM system accuracy. (20%)

Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Manage maintenance schedules, work orders, and service requests using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for procurement of parts, equipment, and services.
  • Continue to develop, organize and implement an effective CMM system for facility and production equipment.
  • Oversee inventory management of spare parts, tools, and supplies within warehouse and storage areas, maintaining accurate records through data entry and inventory control systems.
  • Facilitate shipping & receiving processes for maintenance materials, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with OEM standards.
  • Assist in sourcing new suppliers, negotiating prices, terms, and service agreements to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Provide necessary effort to locate and expedite parts and components during emergency breakdown situations.
  • Provide periodic cycle counts of storeroom inventories.
  • Provide reports as needed from CMM system.
  • Following office procedures to generation of purchase requisition, approvals and receiving of purchased parts.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment repairs, and procurement transactions while ensuring adherence to safety standards and dealership experience protocols.
  • Manage work order to ensure proper creation, planning, update and closure of work.
  • Work harmoniously as a team and be respectful of others.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, warehouse management, or logistics.
  • Familiarity with CMMS platforms
  • Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in equipment repair
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; data entry accuracy is critical.
  • Effective negotiation skills for procurement management and supplier relations; experience in sourcing preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to be forklift certified
  • Warehouse experience is a plus; familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures is beneficial.
  • Customer service orientation with strong communication skills to collaborate across departments effectively.
  • Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, Standard Operating Procedures, maintenance instructions and manuals
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems
  • Willingness and ability to work with other team members and management
  • Strong work ethic and good attitude towards work
  • Safety conscious and comply with all general safety policies and procedures in accordance with Company, State and Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • 6 months or more Experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years in maintenance related field or 2 years in a maintenance CMM related field

Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms above and below shoulder level
  • Regularly stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Regularly communicate in some manner either by speech/hearing or through written communication.
  • Regularly use of vision abilities including close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Regularly work around moving machinery and heavy equipment.
  • Frequently required to push/pull.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Frequently exposed to high-speed moving mechanical parts.
  • Frequently exposed to UV, strobing or flashing light.
  • Occasionally exposed to fumes, dust or airborne particles.
  • Regularly exposed to moderate noise level in the work environment.
