Job Title

Primary Purpose

Provide initial contact with public concerning questions, problems, or general information and direct individuals to the proper authority for further handling. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.

Qualifications

Education/Certification/Licensure

  • High School diploma or GED

Special Knowledge/Skills

  • Effective communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
  • Efficient computer and telephone skills
  • Knowledge of general office procedures

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years office experience
Major Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Provide initial personal contact with visitors entering the school office.
  2. Issue visitor passes.
  3. Receive and direct incoming calls, take reliable messages, and route to appropriate staff.
  4. Secure teacher and paraprofessional substitutes.
  5. Perform the usual office routines and practices (e.g. record keeping, file maintenance).
  6. Maintain system for parent dial out.
  7. Stay current with school policies, programs, and activities.
