Function
Secondary Instructional Paraprofessional III - In School Suspension Center
Reports To:
School Principal
Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining a daily working schedule as determined by the Principal.
  • Acting as liaison with the student's regular teacher.
  • Working with teachers in meeting educational and discipline needs of students.
  • Helping students develop greater self-discipline.
  • Monitoring students in performance of work given in the students' regular classrooms.
  • Checking assignments for general accuracy and completeness 'and routing them to teachers.
  • Maintaining accurate records.
  • Attending and participating in staff development programs.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Principal.
  • Acquiring knowledge or training in one or all of the following: Cooperative Discipline; Discipline with Dignity.
  • Arranging exit conference for students ready to exit.
