Job description

Under the supervision of the CBO Supervisor, the CBO Posting Specialist is responsible for assisting hospitals with maximizing collections and minimizing outstanding accounts receivable aging percentages by timely posting of payments and adjustments accurately to the patient accounts. The CBO Posting Specialist is responsible for ensuring that payments that deposit into the bank are matched to the corresponding remittance for posting and ensuring the bank transactions are in balance with what has posted into the system. The CBO Posting specialist may be relied on for posting or balancing of other topics and will ensure policy required approvals are obtained prior to posting for each topic.
