CalfCare is a veterinary group that specializes in calves and cattle. Our clients produce dairy & dairy cross feeder calves, dairy replacement heifers, and dairy & beef fat cattle. We focus on preventative medicine through design of vaccine protocols, diagnostic services, management consultation, contract research and development, as well as providing the supplies necessary for our clients to be successful and profitable. With this specialty comes the ability to perform contract research. The Contract research allow us to be on the forefront of cattle health technology. We provide other organizations samples and data to their specifications.ย 

Position Summary

A Client Care Associate is the first point of contact for our clients and patients, playing a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and outstanding care. This position thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where adaptability and professionalism are key.

They are a clear and confident communicator who can build trust with clients and collaborate effectively with team members. You will work closely with our veterinary and support staff to ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, viewing schedules, and utilizing strong computer skills to keep everything running seamlessly. Attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset are essential as you help us provide the highest level of service and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate information about products, services, and company policies.
  • Assist clients via phone or email in a professional and timely manner, including processing orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently.
  • Identify and assess client needs to achieve problem resolution.
  • Collaborate with the Scheduling to ensure clients are scheduled and billed promptly.
  • Handle and resolve client complaints to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of company offerings, promotions, and processes.
  • Create or assist with monthly sales flyers by identifying featured products.
  • Create 0r assist with the monthly newsletter, Work with Column writers to get articles before monthly deadline.
  • Assist with sending out invoices and monthly statements in a timely fashion.
  • Continuously update and improve knowledge of products, services, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (field representatives, veterinarians, veterinary nurses, scheduling) to meet client needs.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding common customer concerns and suggestions for improvement.

Requirements

  • 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred and not required
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Empathy and patience when addressing customer concerns.
  • Ability to multitask, self-motivated, and work well with others.
  • Ability to work overtime when necessary (preferred).
  • Knowledge of animal husbandry and handling skills (preferred).
