We are a true farm-to-table company with an integrated portfolio including food processing and food brands, phosphate mining, fertilizer manufacturing, farming, ranching and cattle production, and other enterprises related to agriculture.SummaryThe Field Technician supports Simplot Grower Solutions' mission of helping growers achieve success by providing operational, technical, and field support services. This role performs a variety of hands-on agronomic and operational activities, including soil and plant sampling, field scouting, inventory management, equipment operation and maintenance, product application support, and data collection. The Field Technician works closely with Crop Advisors, Operations employees, and customers to ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate execution of agronomic programs while delivering exceptional customer service and supporting overall location success.Key ResponsibilitiesParticipating in and making sales calls to new and existing customers.As appropriate for the business: blending, delivery, delivery/transport and setup of equipment, equipment maintenance, inventory management, sales planning, customer data management, etc.As appropriate for the business: Soil sampling, plant sampling, product testing, product applications, and field scouting in production agriculture areas.
